Opportunities for Survivor Advocates
San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium
The AACR and the Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation has teamed up to offer attendees of the symposium a special educational session on cancer research and advocacy. Learn more about the session.
AACR Advocacy Partners Pavilion
Check out the local and national advocacy organizations that participated at the AACR Advocacy Partners Pavilion during the AACR Annual Meeting 2014.
The pavilion is a designated area on the show floor where not-for-profit cancer patient advocacy organizations can educate annual meeting attendees on their resources and services. Being a part of this pavilion is by invitation only and at no cost to the advocacy groups.
To learn more about this opportunity for 2015, contact Karen Russell Mills by emailing email@example.com or by calling 215-446-7104.
Discounted Rates for Conference Attendance
The AACR is pleased to offer patient advocates discounted registration rates for select conferences. Download the official conference registration form for the meeting you want to attend along with the advocate verification form (Download the word document) and submit to firstname.lastname@example.org or fax to 215-446-7262.
Once your advocacy status has been approved, you will be able to register at the discounted rate. Advocates who are members of the AACR will receive a much lower rate than non-members, dependent upon the time of registration.
Please note, advocates WILL NOT be able to register online. If you have any questions, please contact Karen Russell Mills by emailing email@example.com or by calling 215-446-7104.
Advocate Affiliate Membership in the AACR
