The Rally for Medical Research was formed to raise awareness at this critical time of the urgent need for an increased investment in the NIH to improve health, spur more progress, inspire more hope, and save more lives. Every September, a broad coalition of groups representing the medical research advocacy community meet with House and Senate offices in Washington, D.C., to urge members of Congress to make funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) a national priority.
