I am a first-year cancer biology PhD student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I hold my Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Wayne State University’s School of Medicine, and my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan Technological University. My research interests include the FGF/FGFR signaling axis, as well as the role the tumor microenvironment plays in metastasis and acquisition of resistance to therapy. My ultimate goal is to become a professor and principal investigator, so that I can help educate the next generation of research scientists.
