The AACR’s Revolutions for Research to Raise Funds for Cancer Research at the Fillmore

WHAT:

The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) will kick-off the fourth Revolutions for Research event at the Fillmore in Philly on Saturday, December 7. Revolutions for Research is the area’s largest indoor cycling event to raise funds in support of lifesaving cancer research. For one day, the Fillmore will be filled with 100 state-of-the-art stationary bikes to create an empowering indoor cycling experience complete with vendors and fitness demonstrations.

Renowned LA-based makeup artist, Philly native, and two-time cancer survivor, Jordan Liberty, will join the Revolutions for Research team as an ambassador. He will be joined by local fitness instructors Alexis Rose, Tori DeSimone, Jordan Deane, and Kate DeGennaro. Rose also is a cancer survivor.

Interviews with participants, instructors, AACR Foundation Ambassadors, and AACR Foundation Executive Director Mitch Stoller can be arranged in advance or during the event.

Jordan Liberty also will host a separate makeup masterclass on Sunday, December 8 at the Hilton Penn’s Landing. Liberty will share signature makeup techniques that include reducing makeup texture, increasing the longevity of makeup looks, and achieving naturally full-looking brows.
