Deadline Approaching: Reserve Housing by This Friday, March 3 for AACR Annual Meeting 2023

The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) will host its 114th Annual Meeting from April 14-19, 2023, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Media interested in registering for the meeting can register for in-person or virtual attendance.

MEDIA REGISTRATION

The deadline to make hotel reservations through AACR Housing is this Friday, March 3. Hotel information can be found in the in the Accommodations and Travel section on the AACR website.

Registration for the Annual Meeting is complimentary for credentialed news media. Journalists may register to attend the meeting in person in Orlando or virtually. Both in-person and virtual registrants will have access to livestreamed and on-demand sessions through the virtual meeting platform. Additional information on the meeting features included with in-person and virtual registration is available here.

Journalists planning to cover the meeting must register through the AACR Department of Communications and Public Relations to receive the embargoed press program and other important communications.

Press conferences featuring noteworthy research from the AACR Annual Meeting are scheduled for the following times:

  • Sunday, April 16, 11 a.m. ET
  • Monday, April 17, 8:30 a.m. ET
  • Tuesday, April 18, 8:30 a.m. ET

Press conferences will be held in person and simultaneously broadcast through Zoom webinar for virtual attendees. Abstracts included in this year’s press program and additional details will be announced at a later date.

The press room hours of operation are as follows:

  • Friday, April 14: 12 to 6 p.m. ET
  • Saturday, April 15-Tuesday, April 18: 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET
  • Wednesday, April 19: 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET
