PHILADELPHIA – The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) will host its 114th Annual Meeting from April 14-19, 2023, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
Media interested in registering for the meeting can register for in-person or virtual attendance. Please review the AACR’s media registration requirements and policies. Journalists can request registration by filling out this form by April 5. Requests will be accepted after this time but there may be a delay in processing. PRESS OPERATIONS AT THE AACR ANNUAL MEETING 2023
Media Luncheon
The AACR will host a special luncheon for registered media onsite at the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, April 18, at noon ET featuring remarks from:
- AACR President Lisa M. Coussens, PhD, FAACR, FAIO
- AACR President-Elect Philip D. Greenberg, MD, FAACR

Press Conferences from April 16-18 in Room W209
Three press conferences featuring noteworthy research from the AACR Annual Meeting will be held in Room W209 at the convention center and simultaneously broadcast via Zoom for virtual attendees. These events will be held at the following times:
- Sunday, April 16
11 a.m. ET
- Monday, April 17
8:30 a.m. ET
- Tuesday, April 18
8:30 a.m. ET
Abstracts included in this year’s press program will be shared with registered reporters at a later date. All media registered for virtual attendance at the meeting will also be registered for the virtual broadcast of the press conferences. The AACR public relations team will follow up with additional information on accessing the briefings virtually.
Press Room and Badge Pickup in Room W208
The press room will be located in Room W208 in the convention center. Registered media can pick up their badges at the front desk in the press room. Hours of operation are as follows:
- Friday, April 14
12 to 6 p.m. ET
- Saturday, April 15-Tuesday, April 18
7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET
- Wednesday, April 19
7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET
Lunch, snacks, coffee, and other refreshments will be available when the press room opens on Friday. Breakfast service will start on Saturday.
