What are your long-term career goals?
“After graduating with my bachelor’s degree, I intend to pursue a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences to continue researching chemotherapy drug development and delivery methods. Targeted chemotherapeutic delivery methods can drastically improve cancer patients’ outcomes and quality of life by limiting the damage chemotherapy drugs do to a patient’s entire body. I also want to thank my mentor, Dr. Lacey McNally, for always challenging me and advocating for me. She inspired me to become a mentor for students in the future so that I can pass down the kindness she has shown me throughout my education.”
