Abstract 1685: Identification of intratumor pathogens from single cell RNA sequencing, cellular dysfunction and immune response
What are your long-term career objectives?
My research aims to utilize my foundational scientific knowledge in immunology and urologic oncology to advance the mechanistic comprehension of the microbiome’s role in bladder cancer and its potential clinical applications in collaboration with my mentor Dr. Abbosh. A crucial gap in our understanding is the microbiome’s capacity to significantly alter treatment response based on immune-host interaction. The anticipated outcomes will deliver actionable microbiome profiling, identifying patients at risk of progression, and pinpointing key microbial networks that promote treatment response.
