Abstract 1945: NOS inhibition reverses epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition and synergizes with alpelisib in metaplastic breast cancer
What are your long-term career objectives?
My ultimate career goal is to become a physician-scientist in medical oncology with specializations in investigational cancer therapeutics and rare malignancies. My current research interests have focused on preclinical studies to evaluate and develop novel therapeutic strategies against aggressive breast cancers, such as metaplastic breast cancer. Following graduation from medical school, I will apply to internal medicine residency and eventually hematology-oncology fellowship. I hope to integrate my experience in laboratory-based preclinical studies into the clinical setting and implement personalized cancer therapeutic approaches to improve patient outcomes.
