Global Scholars Alumni Committee

Mission

The AACR Global Scholar Alumni Committee (GSAC) supports the AACR’s mission to prevent and cure cancer by promoting the professional development of early- and mid-career Global Scholar-in-Training Awardee (GSITA) alumni who currently represent more than 100 talented scholars from countries with emerging economies.

Committee

The GSAC members are selected through a competitive process, and they serve in an advisory capacity to the AACR Global Affairs Leadership by promoting scientific and professional development events and resources for GSITA alumni around the world.
