Journalists have three weeks left to submit a story for a chance to win $5,000
PHILADELPHIA – The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) invites journalists to submit their stories for the 2024 AACR June L. Biedler Prize for Cancer Journalism. This prestigious prize serves to recognize professional journalists who have produced accurate, informative, and compelling stories that enhance the public’s understanding of cancer, cancer research, cancer advocacy, or cancer policy.
Each award is accompanied by a $5,000 unrestricted cash prize. The deadline for submission is Thursday, December 7, 2023.
Submit a story for the 2024 AACR June L. Biedler Prize for Cancer Journalism
The AACR June L. Biedler Prize for Cancer Journalism is open to professional journalists whose stories appear in outlets that target a lay public audience. Stories must have been published or broadcast for the first time between December 1, 2022, and November 30, 2023. Submissions will be considered in the following categories:
- Newspapers
- Magazines
- Online/Multimedia
- Television/Radio/Podcasts
The 2024 AACR June L. Biedler Prize for Cancer Journalism will be presented during the Opening Ceremony at the AACR Annual Meeting 2024 in San Diego.
