Mission

The mission of the AACR Hematologic Malignancies Working Group is to convene a diverse group of national and international leaders and stakeholders across all sectors engaged in hematologic malignancies research to analyze the current state of the field, identify opportunities for innovation to accelerate progress, and assist in guiding AACR’s ongoing and future programs and initiatives dedicated to saving lives from blood-based cancers and other related diseases.

Why Join HMWG

  • To facilitate transdisciplinary approaches to the study of hematologic malignancies;
  • To promote the incorporation of molecular concepts and techniques as well as novel data science tools into well-designed hematologic malignancies-based studies;
  • To provide an ongoing forum for the scholarly discussion and development of effective approaches to the conduct and interpretation of hematologic malignancy-based studies;
  • To foster collaborations with individuals engaged in other scientific disciplines and organ site cancers;
  • To sponsor scientific and educational programs that will serve to advance the field;
  • To join a community of individual experts interested in advancing progress in hematologic malignancies research.

  • AACR members in good standing have the opportunity to join and participate in AACR Scientific Working Groups and Association Groups.
