ICYMI: AACR Publishes Timely Journal Article and Blog Post on LGBTQ+ Cancer Survivorship
PHILADELPHIA – To coincide with June as Pride Month and National Cancer Survivor Month, Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention, a journal of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), recently published a study that found LGBTQ+ cancer survivors—especially transgender and gender nonconforming individuals—have higher odds of chronic health conditions compared to straight and cisgender survivors.
