Register Today: AACR Conference on Cancer Health Disparities, September 21-24, 2024

LOS ANGELES – The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), in association with the AACR Minorities in Cancer Research Council, will host the 17th AACR Conference on The Science of Cancer Health Disparities in Racial/Ethnic Minorites and the Medically Underserved from September 21-24 in Los Angeles, California. Registration is complimentary for credentialed members of the media.

This meeting will take place as an in-person event and will not be live-streamed for virtual participation. Lecture sessions will be made available for on-demand viewing approximately 7-14 days after the meeting has concluded and will remain available until November 30.

This conference is dedicated to advancing the understanding of cancer disparities that pose significant public health challenges. Reflecting this transdisciplinary field, professionals from academia, industry, government, and the community will come together to exchange innovative ideas, discuss the latest findings in the field, and catalyze the development of new research initiatives in the field of cancer health disparities.

The conference will include sessions on the impact of structural racism, financial toxicity, and climate change on cancer disparities; using artificial intelligence and big data to address cancer disparities; and more. View the full conference program.
