AACR Annual Meeting 2025 Housing Deadline Extended to April 1

CHICAGO – In less than four weeks, the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) will host its 116th Annual Meeting from April 25-30, 2025, at McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois.

HOUSING DEADLINE EXTENDED TO APRIL 1

The deadline for reserving a hotel room through AACR Housing has been extended until tomorrow, Tuesday, April 1. You can reserve a hotel room before registering for the meeting. To book an individual or group housing reservation, visit the Accommodations and Travel section on the AACR Annual Meeting website.

REQUEST MEDIA REGISTRATION BY APRIL 18

Journalists can request complimentary registration by filling out this form by April 18. Requests will be accepted after this time, but registration confirmations and access to embargoed materials may be delayed.

Journalists who wish to receive embargoed abstracts and press releases must register for either in-person or virtual attendance at the meeting.

To register, journalists must provide official press credentials and bylined coverage. Before requesting registration, please review the full media registration requirements and embargo policies.

PRESS OPERATIONS AT AACR ANNUAL MEETING 2025

Press Conferences from April 27-29 in E353A

Press conferences featuring noteworthy research from the AACR Annual Meeting are scheduled for the following times:

  • Sunday, April 27, 11 a.m. CT
  • Monday, April 28, 8 a.m. CT
  • Tuesday, April 29, 8 a.m. CT

Press conferences will be held in person and simultaneously broadcast through Zoom webinar for virtual attendees. Abstracts included in this year’s press program and additional details will be shared with registered reporters about a week before the meeting begins.

The press room hours of operation are as follows:

  • Friday, April 25: 12-6 p.m. CT
  • Saturday, April 26-Tuesday, April 29: 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. CT
  • Wednesday, April 30: 7:30 a.m.-12 p.m. CT

Individuals registered as press for the AACR Annual Meeting agree to abide by all embargoes. Please review the AACR’s embargo policy.

Regular abstract titles and text, as well as late-breaking and clinical trial abstract titles, have been posted to the online itinerary planner. Late-breaking and clinical trial abstract text will be published on April 25, 2025, at 12 p.m. CT/1 p.m. ET.

Abstracts selected for the official AACR Annual Meeting press program are embargoed until date and time of presentation during the Annual Meeting, either at an official AACR press conference or in a scientific session.
