AACR Resources and Experts Available for Sarcoma and Bone Cancer Awareness Month

PHILADELPHIA – In recognition of July as Sarcoma and Bone Cancer Awareness Month, the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) published a post yesterday on the AACR’s official blog, Cancer Research Catalyst, that highlights recent progress in sarcoma treatment, including T-cell therapy.

In addition to the blog post, the AACR has several survivor and researcher stories that may be of interest:

  • Julie Kramer spoke with Mitch Stoller, host of the AACR Foundation’s Believe in Progress podcast, about her journey with stage IV synovial sarcoma.
  • Madelyn Espinosa-Cotton, PhD, an AACR Grantee and senior research scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, discussed with the AACR how she is using her grant to research desmoplastic small round cell tumors, a rare and aggressive type of cancer.
