Register Now for Congressional Briefing to Unveil AACR Cancer Disparities Progress Report 2024

WHAT

The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) will host a briefing to unveil the AACR Cancer Disparities Progress Report 2024 at the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, D.C.  

First published in 2020, the biennial AACR Cancer Disparities Progress Report aims to raise awareness among Congress and the American public of the enormous toll that cancer exacts on racial and ethnic minority groups and other medically underserved populations. The report highlights the underlying causes of cancer disparities, promising trends in reducing these inequities, and the importance of continued research, collaboration, and congressional action to achieve health equity and ensure that advances against cancer benefit all patients.
