Cause Marketing
A cause marketing campaign benefits your business and our cause. Most consumers view a business more positively if it is committed to a worthy cause. By working with the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), you align your business with propelling the progress of lifesaving cancer research.
Cause marketing initiatives can be as unique as the companies that create them. To support our cause, corporate partners have donated a portion of proceeds from a particular product, provided a way for customers to donate to the AACR at point of purchase, and/or offered customer incentives in exchange for donations to the AACR.
Here are a few recent examples:
Sigma Beauty Collaboration with Jordan Liberty
In March 2020, Jordan Liberty released his Master Artistry Collection of makeup brushes in collaboration with Sigma Beauty. A two-time cancer survivor himself, Jordan celebrated two years cancer-free in November 2019. This new Collection features 14 vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, and waterproof brushes, and $25 from every set sold is being donated to the AACR through 2021. Learn more.
Aflac’s “This Duck Wears Pink” Initiative
Aflac first created exclusive pink-themed Aflac Duck merchandise for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in 2016. They also promoted the initiative through a social media campaign. Through its ongoing “This Duck Wears Pink” nationwide initiative, donations and all net proceeds from the merchandise sales benefit the AACR’s breast cancer research efforts.
