What are your long-term career objectives?
“I am a MD/PhD student at Johns Hopkins University, pursuing my PhD in Biomedical Engineering. I am developing liquid biopsy tests to enable early detection and monitoring of cancer, and building artificial intelligence tools to enable new genomic analyses. Ultimately, I aspire to a career as an academic physician-scientist. I aim to run my own research laboratory that pursues fundamental discoveries about the underpinnings of disease and uses quantitative tools to translate them into technology that helps patients.”
Abstract #988: Genome-wide repeat landscapes in cancer and cell-free DNA.
