What are your long-term career objectives?

“My research focuses on using epigenetic clocks to investigate if epigenetic age acceleration could serve as a cumulative biomarker for the lifestyle and environmental risk factors that increase the risk for early-onset colorectal cancer. Also, I am interested in using geospatial epidemiology and statistics to understand how neighborhood deprivation, in tandem with electronic health data, impacts EOCRC. My career objective is to continue working in cancer health disparities and develop prevention methods for affected populations.”

Abstract #3439: Factors affecting the performance of existing epigenetic clocks to predict chronological age in colorectal tumor and normal tissues.
