Abstract 3656: Association of genetic ancestry with all cancer risk in white and Black ever-smokers in the PLCO cohort
What are your long-term career objectives?
My research interests meet at the intersection of cancer biology, genetics, and precision medicine. I am traditionally a basic scientist. I pivoted toward population science and cancer disparity research during my post-doc experience. My long-term goal is to become an independent investigator. I aspire to work with a team of innovative scientists that integrate bioinformatics as well as basic and translational research to investigate new biomarkers and estimate individualized patient risk for aggressive cancers.
