Abstract 4727: Clonal hematopoiesis in Down syndrome and its potential impact on hematopoietic lineages
What are your long-term career objectives?
My research ambitions are galvanized by the fact that certain communities are subjected to higher rates of poor health outcomes. Studies addressing health inequities not only help at-risk populations but can be leveraged to understand variations in diagnoses. This motivates my primary career goal of becoming a research professor, where I can lead studies with direct health implications to underserved communities and educate and empower fellow underrepresented minorities to pursue their goals.
