Emilee is fifth year PhD candidate in the Molecular Genetics and Genomics program at Washington University in St. Louis. Her thesis work, in the laboratory of Dr. Katherine Fuh, focuses on the genetics of ovarian cancer metastasis. Emilee has served as president of her school’s science policy group, ProSPER, and as the Central Hub Regional cochair for the National Science Policy Network (NSPN). She received her undergraduate degree in cellular and molecular biology from the University of Michigan and grew up in Ohio.
