Abstract 1419: Biological evaluation of novel stearoyl Gemcitabine nanoparticles in primary pancreatic cancer cells and PDX mice tumor models
What are your long-term career objectives?
My career goal is to work as a formulation scientist specializing in developing targeted nano-delivery systems for gastrointestinal cancers. To achieve this, I am currently optimizing the delivery of a novel chemotherapeutic agent in primary pancreatic cancer cells and patient-derived xenograft tumor models. I also hope to use my expertise to train other minority researchers in nano-drug delivery, ultimately increasing representation in this field.
