What are your long-term career objectives?
“I am a Colombian Microbiologist with experience in the fields of immunology and metabolism. After my postdoctoral training, I will pursue a career in an academic setting as an independent investigator. Specifically, I am interested in examining the role of the intestinal microbiome and nutrition in the context of racial-cancer disparities. In addition to my research endeavors, I am passionate about mentoring and making science and medicine accessible for all.”
