What are your long-term career objectives?
“My long-term goal is to become an independent academic principal investigator aiming to define molecular mechanisms which contribute to cancer progression and morbidity. My predoctoral research focuses on how TRIM9, a brain-enriched E3 ubiquitin ligase, regulates membrane remodeling, migration, and metastasis in melanoma. This research will define molecular mechanisms occurring in melanoma which may contribute to tumor metastasis and patient survival.”
Abstract #193: Melanoma cytoskeletal dynamics, membrane remodeling, and motility are regulated by TRIM9
