Since its inception in 1996, this Symposium has been a beacon for clinicians and researchers worldwide, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to propel ovarian cancer research forward. Our mission is to deepen understanding, explore recent breakthroughs, and tackle critical challenges facing the clinical and research communities.

Ovarian cancer stands as the foremost cause of gynecological cancer-related mortality. Often diagnosed in advanced stages due to subtle symptoms, its prognosis is dire. Early detection holds the key to improving survival rates, with a staggering difference in outcomes between early and late-stage diagnoses. Furthermore, recurrent ovarian cancer underscores the urgency for insights into chemoresistance and tumor biology.

The 15th Biennial Ovarian Cancer Research Symposium presented by the Rivkin Center, and the AACR serves as a vital platform, addressing these urgent needs through sessions on innovative therapeutics, immune-oncology, tumor microenvironment, early detection, prevention, DNA repair, and rare tumors. Additionally, discussions on health disparities and the pivotal role of patient advocacy in research will enrich our dialogue. Together, we strive to advance ovarian cancer research and transform patient care.
