Please note that the information listed below is the only official AACR process for reserving a hotel room or booking travel, and the information on the meeting registration page is the only location to register for the meeting. The AACR cannot guarantee your registration, housing, or travel if you purchase using an illegitimate website.

Chicago O’Hare International Airport
O’Hare (ORD) is one of the largest airports in the world. It lies just 16 miles from downtown Chicago.
Chicago Midway International Airport
Midway (MDW) is the nation’s premier point-to-point airport, offering value-oriented leisure and business travel to over 60 destinations. It is located only 11 miles from downtown Chicago.

Assistance for International Travelers
An official letter of invitation is available through the online registration system. Contact the American Consulate in your country to review the current regulations for travel to the United States. Please begin the visa application process as early as possible. Information is available on the U.S. Department of State website.
Ground Transportation
- Taxi, Lyft, and Uber pick-up points are available at both airports. Alternatively, you can e-hail and e-pay with CHICABS-approved apps ARRO and CURB. Credit cards are accepted in all taxis. Lyft, Uber, and Curb Taxi can be scheduled in advance to cut down your wait time.
- GO Airport Express provides shared ride services to all downtown/suburban hotels.
- Numerous car rental companies have facilities at both O’Hare and Midway airports.
Public Transportation
- The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Blue Line ‘L’ Train provides 24-hour rapid transit train service between Chicago-O’Hare International Airport and the Forest Park terminal, via downtown Chicago.
- The CTA Orange Line ‘L’ Train connects directly to Midway. The Orange Line provides rapid transit train service between Midway Airport and downtown (Loop) and provides service to Chicago’s Southwest Side. See maps and fares.
AACR shuttle service
The AACR will provide complimentary shuttle service over the meeting dates for all official AACR Oncology Industry Partnering Event hotels not within walking distance of the McCormick Place Convention Center. When available, the hotel shuttle schedule will be posted on AACR.org/Travel and will include shuttle hours of operation and the designated route number for each hotel.
