AACR Annual Meeting 2023: Proceedings E-Book
Regular abstracts (submitted for the November 17, 2022 deadline) that were presented at the AACR Annual Meeting 2023 are available in PDF, epub, and mobi formats for download to e-readers and other devices. Due to the size of the volume, the Proceedings e-book is available in two parts: Part A (abstracts presented on April 16-17, 2023) and Part B (abstracts presented on April 18-19, 2023).
Clinical trial and late-breaking abstracts (submitted for the January 12, 2023 deadline) that were presented at the AACR Annual Meeting are only available in PDF format.
The Proceedings e-book is available at no charge in all formats with the exception of the direct download to Kindle from the Amazon store, for which there is a nominal fee of $1.99 per file. (To avoid the fee, you can download the e-book files to your computer and transfer them to your Kindle.)

Kindle Devices and APplications
Copying E-Book Files to Your Kindle from Your Computer
- Download the .mobi files from the links below.
- Attach the Kindle to your computer using the USB cable.
- The Kindle directory should open automatically. If not, go to My Computer and you should find the Kindle there.
- In the Kindle directory, open the Books/Documents folder(s).
- Save the files below into your Kindle’s Books/Documents folder(s).
- Detach the USB cable from the Kindle.
- You should then see a new entry for the eBook in the menu on your Kindle.
Copying E-Book Files to Your Kindle Applications
Kindle for PC (Windows 7, Vista, XP, Windows 8)
- Download Kindle for PC.
- Download the .mobi version of the eBook. It will open with Kindle by default. If it doesn’t, select Open with Kindle.
- If you prefer to use a different eBook reader, choose one from your list of .mobi readers.
Kindle for Mac
- Download the Kindle for Mac app.
- Download the .mobi version of the eBook. It will open with Kindle by default. If it doesn’t, select Open with Kindle.
- If you prefer to use a different eBook reader, choose one from your list of .mobi readers.
Kindle for Apple Devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch)
- Download the Kindle for iPad app from iTunes.
- Download the .mobi version of the eBook. It will open with Kindle by default. If it doesn’t, select Open with Kindle.
- If you prefer to use a different eBook reader, choose one from your list of .mobi readers.
Kindle for Samsung Galaxy
- Download the Kindle for Samsung app.
- Download the .mobi version of the eBook. It will open with Kindle by default. If it doesn’t, select Open with Kindle.
- If you prefer to use a different eBook reader, choose one from your list of .mobi readers.
Epub Devices (Apple Device, B&N Nook, Sony Reader, and Others)
Installing Epub Files on an Apple iPhone
- Click on the links below from your device:
- You will see a book icon and the name of the file in the center of the screen.
- You will also see an “Open in iBooks” button in the top right. Tap this button.
- Your iPhone will launch iBooks and begin downloading the file.
- Once the file has downloaded it will open automatically in iBooks.
- Alternatively, you can download the PDF versions to your device:
Installing Epub Files on an Apple iPad
Please Note: Use this method if you have access to a desktop computer (Windows or Macintosh) and iTunes. If you are using directly from the iPad, refer to the instructions for the iPhone above.
- Download the ePub files to your computer using the links below:
- Open iTunes using the account associated with your iPad.
- Select the downloaded files and drag them over the Library area on the left panel.
- If you already have an iBooks entry, the documents will appear there. If you do not already have an iBooks entry, iTunes will create one for you and place the documents there.
- Sync your iPad to add the documents as titles in your iBooks Library.
Installing Epub Files on a Samsung Galaxy
- Click the Market icon on your Samsung and search for eBook readers such as Kobo eBook Reader, Aldiko Book Reader, Google Books, Nook for Android, etc.
- Select and install a reader app.
- Once the app is installed, you should be able to open these files directly. Otherwise, follow the instructions provided with the specific app.
- If you prefer, you can also download the .epub files to your PC, mount your Samsung device’s SD card, and copy the files to the SD card from your computer so that they will open directly in the reader app.
Installing Epub Files on a Barnes & Noble Nook
- Download the ePub files to your computer using the links below:
- Connect your Nook to your computer using the USB cable provided.
- Go to My Computer and open the Reader device.
- Open the My Documents folder.
- Copy the file you downloaded into the My Documents folder.
- Disconnect the USB cable from the Nook.
- On your Nook, go to My Library.
- In the touch pad at the bottom, touch “Check for New Content.” The files will display as titles in your Library.
Please Note: Make sure you are using the Light Classic font to ensure that the content renders correctly.
Installing Epub Files on a Google Android Device
- Click the Market icon on your Android and search for eBook readers such as Aldiko Book Reader, Google Books, Kobo eBook Reader, Nook for Android, etc.
- Select and install a reader app.
- Once the app is installed, you should be able to open these files directly. Otherwise, follow the instructions provided with the specific app.
- If you prefer, you can also download the .epub files to your PC, mount your Android device’s SD card, and copy the files to the SD card from your computer so that they will open directly in your the reader app.
Installing Epub Files on a Sony eReader
- Download the ePub files using the links below:
- Connect your Sony Reader to your computer using the USB cable provided.
- Go to My Computer and open the Reader device.
- Open the Documents folder.
- Copy the file you downloaded into the Documents folder.
- Disconnect the USB cable from the Sony Reader. The files will display as titles in your Catalog.
Troubleshooting: Epub File Not Recognized
In some cases, Windows will not recognize the .epub file when you download and will save it with a .zip extension instead. You will need to rename the file with the .epub extension for your device to recognize the files. The instructions below explain how to do this.
Windows 7 Users
- Save the file onto your desktop.
- In the start menu, select control panel.
- In the control panel window, select the appearance and personalization link.
- Select the folder options link, and click the view tab at the top of the folder options window.
- In the advance settings options, uncheck the “hide extensions for known file types” box (7th check box listed).
- Select apply and then select ok.
- Locate the file on your desktop and right click on the folder.
- Select rename and change the .zip extension to .epub.
- When the file name extension warning box appears select yes to change the file extension.
- The file has now been changed to an ePub file and is ready to be downloaded on your mobile device.
Windows XP Users
- Save the file onto your desktop.
