Member Transfer Guidelines: Active to Emeritus

The American Association for Cancer Research is pleased to offer active members who have reached the age of 70 the option of continuing membership in the association as an emeritus member. This membership category is also offered in case of disability of an active member or under circumstances deemed appropriate by the board of directors; in such instances the requirement of an age of 70 years for transfer to emeritus status may be waived. Active members who meet the above criteria and wish to apply for transfer to emeritus membership must use the AACR Membership Transfer Form. After review of your transfer request and support materials, confirmation of transfer will be sent to members within one month of receipt of the transfer form.
