Myron Arlen, MD, AACR Active member, died October 27, 2018, at the age of 86.
Billy Baggett
Billy Baggett, PhD, AACR Emeritus member, died January 23, 2018, at the age of 91.
Ralph J. Bernacki
Ralph J. Bernacki, PhD, an Emeritus member of the AACR, died October 2, 2018, at the age of 72.
Samuel Bieber
Samuel Bieber, PhD, AACR Emeritus member, died January 4, 2018, at the age of 91. Bieber was provost and vice president of Academic Affairs at Old Dominion University.
Günter Blobel
Günter Blobel, MD, PhD, a Nobel Laureate and a Fellow of the AACR Academy, died February 18, 2018, at the age of 81
Michel Boiron
Michel Boiron, MD, an Emeritus member of the AACR, died March 12, 2018, at the age of 93.
Harold C. Box
Harold C. Box, PhD, an Emeritus member of the AACR, passed away on March 30, 2018, at the age of 92.
Luther W. Brady
Luther W. Brady, MD, an Emeritus member of the AACR, died July 13, 2018, at the age of 92. Dr. Brady was renowned radiation oncologist and authority on tumors of the eye.
E. Omer Burgert
E. Omer Burgert, MD, an Emeritus member of the AACR, died January 24, 2018, at the age of 93. Dr. Burgert was a key contributor to the growth of the field of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
Seymour S. Cohen
Seymour S. Cohen, PhD, an Emeritus member of the AACR, died December 30, 2018, at the age of 101. Dr. Cohen discovered how viral infection spread within cells by linking a radioactive isotope to a virus and observing the pattern of infection within cells.
