Emanuel E. Schwartz
Emanuel E. Schwartz, MD, AACR Emeritus member, died July 6, 2018, at the age of 94. Schwartz was a Radiologist at Graduate Hospital and served as Associate Professor of Radiology and Radiologist at Hahnemann University Hospital.
Osamu Shimomura
Osamu Shimomura, PhD, a Nobel Prize-winning organic chemist and marine biologist and a Fellow of the AACR Academy, died October 19, 2018, at age 90.
Linda Simpson-Herren
Linda Simpson-Herren, BS, an Emeritus member of the AACR, died April 10, 2018, at the age of 90. Simpson-Herren was a Principal Scientist at Southern Research Institute.
Martin J. Smith
Martin J. Smith, MD, an Emeritus member of the AACR, died on July 29, at the age of 84.
Agnes N. Stroud-Lee
Agnes N. Stroud-Lee, PhD, an AACR member for 64 years, died March 6, 2018, at the age of 95.
John E. Sulston
Sir John E. Sulston, PhD, Fellow of the AACR Academy and a Nobel Laureate, died March 6, 2018, at the age of 75.
Frank Talamantes
Frank Talamantes, PhD, a powerful advocate for Latino scientists and an emeritus member of the AACR, died October 8, 2018, at age 75.
Julien L. Van Lancker
Julien L. Van Lancker, MD, AACR Emeritus member, died December 3, 2018, at the age of 94.
Enrique Vélez-García
