Please join the AACR for a congressional briefing on Wednesday, September 18 (11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. ET), at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., and virtually via livestream for the release of the 14th edition of the AACR Cancer Progress Report 2024.

The AACR Cancer Progress Report is a cornerstone of the AACR’s efforts to educate policymakers and the broader public about cancer, highlight the remarkable progress we are making against cancer, and advocate for robust, sustained, and predictable annual funding increases for the NIH, NCI, FDA, and CDC. Specifically, the report underscores how recent advances across the cancer care continuum, including immunotherapy and molecularly targeted therapies, are helping cancer patients and their loved ones. This year’s report also focuses on the ways we are addressing the needs of the rapidly expanding population of cancer survivors, as well as the disparities in cancer incidence, mortality, and access to care that still affect certain populations.
