This report to the Congress and the American public aims to increase public awareness and understanding of cancer disparities, including the need to increase diversity in clinical trials and the cancer workforce, as well as to provide policy recommendations to address the enormous public health challenge of cancer disparities.  The report has been developed by preeminent cancer disparities researchers in the country and builds upon the AACR’s longstanding commitment to reducing cancer disparities through research, education, and policy.
