Project GENIE 14.0 Public Data Set
The first public data release was available to the global community in January 2017; our current release, GENIE 14.0-public, was released in September 2023. The registry now contains more than 183,000 sequenced samples from 160,000+ patients, making the AACR Project GENIE registry among the largest fully public cancer genomic data sets released to date.
The GENIE 14.0-public dataset contains more than 7,200 PANC patients from 17 of our participating institutions. The GENIE 14.0-public pancreatic cohort can be viewed on cBioPortal.
Contents of GENIE Registry Data
- More than 7,200 pancreatic cancer patients.
- Clinical-grade next-generation sequencing data for each patient from the GENIE Registry. Genomic profiling was performed between 2013 and 2022.
- Clinical information including cancer diagnosis, cancer subtypes, and whether NGS samples were primary or metastatic.
- Patient level information including race/ethnicity, sex, age at sequencing, vital status, and intervals in days from various time points (date of birth to date of last contact/date of death).
For the use of the data, consult the data guide and the release notes.
Users can access the data directly via cbioportal, or download the data directly from Sage Bionetworks. This handy cbioPortal tutorial will help you navigate through the site. Users will need to create an account for either site and agree to the terms of access.
